Darke Tech – Architectural metalwork – specialists in the design and production of high quality, bespoke, polished steel, aluminium and wooden structures including powder coated aluminium pressings, stainless steel balustrades, tension wired balustrades, extruded aluminium handrails, stainless steel oval handrails, extruded luminaire handrails, architectural metal staircases, metal spiral staircases, glazed canopies and wooden handrails.

Darke Engineering is a privately owned construction company serving the gas and oil industry, specialising in high pressure steel welded pipelines and associated above ground installations.

Darke Engineering's aim is simple: Deliver the clients requirements on time, within budget, but never at the expense of HSE and quality.

Our main areas of work are:

Pipeline – Design and construction of high pressure steel welded pipeline diversions for the gas and oil industries.
Civil engineering – Design and construction of civil engineering structures to industry standards.
Oil industry – Serving the oil industry to facilitate the logistics and storage of oil products throughout the UK.
Welding and fabrication – Pipework and structures by fully qualified welders in accordance with British standard welding codes of practice, BS 4515 and NG P1, P2 and P9.

Experienced management team

Our management team is led by Operations Director Paul Farrance, a well respected figure in the gas and oil industry. With over twenty years experience in this field, Paul has worked his way from the grass roots as an operative through to director level, gaining invaluable experience on the way.

Successful projects for a range of clients

Working as the principle contractor under CDM regulations 2007, major projects have included detailed design, procurement and construction, with compilation of final as built information files. As senior management Paul has successfully delivered projects ranging in value from £2k to £2.5m for a variety of clients including:
